What Is Pickle Bill’s?

As we mentioned briefly above, Pickle Bill’s is a lobster house, located in Grand River, Ohio.

Established in 1967, the location and size of the restaurant have changed a couple of times over the years, but it has always served incredible seafood and often even offered a show with your dinner.

In its current incarnation, Pickle Bill’s features the same building it moved into in 1982, with an additional Tiki bar and floating carousel barge that allows you to eat on the water.

Pickle Bill’s boasts great food, great service, and a great atmosphere, the three things that you need to survive in the restaurant business. Their generous all-you-can-eat options are also a pretty strong selling point.

Steamed Mussels

The appetizers menu at Pickle Bill’s starts off strong with six options to choose from. Because it is primarily a seafood restaurant, there is only one appetizer option that doesn’t contain fish or seafood of some kind.

Pickle Bill’s famous deep-fried pickles offer a tasty, indulgent option for any vegetarians in your group.

They are also a delicious option for meat eaters too or anyone who just doesn’t want to go too hard on the seafood too quickly. For the vegans in your party, plain pickles can be requested as a delicious, crunchy appetizer.

If you like to get stuck into your food, the steamed mussels and steamed clams are great options. Served with white wine and garlic or natural broth and butter respectively, providing a gentle flavor.

The breaded calamari topped with cheese is an indulgent choice that is great to share. Or if you are looking for something lighter, the shrimp cocktail is the perfect place to start.

The lobster dip is a wonderful option for sharing among your table mates.
