From the humble cheeseburger, currently for $3.89, to the Double Cheeseburger from $4.99, and the Cheeseburger Toaster at $4.99 right now, to Chili Cheese Coney for $1.99, there is something for just about everyone.
The All-American Dog is only $1.99 at the moment but is one of Sonic’s best sellers. Join the millions of Sonic regulars and see which one you like best. This is made with Sonic’s 100% premium beef and topped with yellow mustard, ketchup, diced onions, relish, and served in a soft, warm bakery bun.
If burgers, hot dogs, and toasties aren’t to your liking, you may like the chicken items on the menu. Currently, you can order the Jumbo Popcorn Chicken from at least $3.99. This is made with 100% all-white meat breaded chicken and is always fried to absolute perfection.
You can enjoy them on their own or spice things up with a smothering of buffalo or Honey BBQ Sauce. There are also medium and large combo meal options from $5.89 and $6.89 respectively.
You can also order the Classic Chicken Sandwich (Grilled or Crispy) for under $5. Inside this Crispy Chicken Sandwich is lightly breaded and seasoned chicken breast, which has been topped with tomatoes, crisp lettuce, and creamy mayo on top of a warm brioche bun.
Sonic has some of the best fast food combo deals around. All combo meals include medium tots/fries and a medium soft drink of choice.
Some current combo deals are the Cheeseburger from $5.99, the Double Cheeseburger from $6.99, the Bacon Double Cheeseburger from $7.89, and the Cheeseburger Toaster from $6.99. A popular option of the Chicken Club Toaster, currently from $7.29. This local favorite contains a crispy all white meat chicken filet topped with crispy bacon, melted cheese, hand-sliced tomatoes, crisp lettuce, creamy mayo, and is served between two thick slices of Texas Toast.

Sonic always has certain items that are only available for a limited time. Currently, there are hot dogs, such as the Original Pretzel Dog from $2.09 and Cheesy Bacon Pretzel Dog from $2.99. The Original Pretzel dog is made with a beef hot dog and topped with grilled onions, warm cheese sauce, and bacon inside a soft pretzel bun. The Cheesy Bacon Pretzel dog contains an all-beef hot dog with a topping of crispy bacon, grilled onions, and cheddar cheese sauce, served within a warm pretzel bun.
You can also enjoy some boneless wings (6pc/12pc/24pc) from $4.49,which are available in garlic Parmesan, buffalo, Asian sweet chili, island fire, extreme Habanero heat, and honey BBQ sauce.

The Mozzarella Sticks w/ Marinara (2pc/4pc/6pc/8pc/16pc) are a firm favorite and are arguably the most popular sides on the menu, but some others deserve to be tried at least once, twice, or every time!
You can enjoy Ched ‘R’ Bites, for example. Served with ranch, these are crispy and perfectly gooey. Then there are the crispy Tots fried to a golden brown perfection and seasoned lightly with salt. You will also love the handmade Onion Rings, which seem to go well with just about everything on the menu!

Everyday Deals are some of the best deals on the Sonic menu. From the Jr. Breakfast Burrito, piled high with fluffy eggs, a savory sausage, melted cheese, wrapped in a warm flour tortilla from just $1.19, to the lightly seasoned Chicken Strip Sandwich from $1.49, made with 100% all-white meat chicken breast and topped with tomatoes, crisp lettuce, and creamy mayo on top of a warm brioche bun. As is often the case with fast food restaurants, Sonic doesn’t produce the healthiest of meals. However, it is possible to find nutritious and fairly healthy options on the menu, if you know where to look.
The healthiest foods at Sonic tend to be the Jr. Burger, Grilled Chicken Sandwich, the Crispy Tenders, Mini Popcorn Chicken, Chicken Strip Sandwich, and even the Small Fries, and Small Tots.
As for the least healthy foods, the Bacon Double Cheeseburger is very high in sodium, the Footlong Quarter Pound Coney is very high in calories, the Chili Cheese Tots are extremely high in calories and sodium, the Honey BBQ Boneless Wings are high in sugar, and the Oreo Peanut Butter Shake has high levels of saturated fat.
There are some gluten-free options on the Sonic menu, including French Fries, Hamburger (no bun), Hot Dog (no bun), Bacon, Egg, Tots, and Apple Slices.
If you want low-carb options, you can choose between the Sonic cheeseburger, bacon double cheeseburger, double cheeseburger, grilled chicken sandwich, meat and cheese breakfast burrito, and all American dog.
For those suffering from diabetes, the following foods are considered safe to eat - the Jr. Burger, quarter pounder double cheeseburger, original pretzel dog, kid’s crispy tenders, black coffee, unsweetened tea, plain water, and any of the diet sodas.
Watching those calories? Some low-calorie menu items include Crispy tenders, corn dog, small fries, Jr. burger, small tots, small jumbo popcorn chicken, and applesauce.
Low-sodium options include the Jr. Burger, Jr. deluxe burger, chicken strip sandwich, chicken strips (kids), corn dog, jumbo popcorn chicken, Ched ‘R’ bites, and, perhaps surprisingly, the handmade onion rings.
There are some vegan-friendly items on the menu, such as the fries, tater tots, soft pretzel twist, lemonade slush, limeade slush, plain slush base, and most of the soft drinks. If you’re vegetarian, you can enjoy Ched ‘R’ bites, cheese tots, cheese fries, French toast sticks, mozzarella sticks, and veggie burgers, although these are only available at some stores.
As you can see, despite being a fast food restaurant whose menu is predominantly made up of unhealthy options, there actually are some healthy options available from Sonic. As long as you know where to look in the menu, there is plenty to choose from.
Sonic is one of very few large brands that only operate on a domestic basis. Despite having more than 3,500 locations, all of Sonic’s stores are located within the USA. So, unfortunately, you cannot get Sonic outside of America. It is also worth noting that Sonic only has stores in 43 States, so there are 7 States where you cannot get Sonic.
Some Sonic stores do offer delivery, but this will depend on your local store. Some other Sonic stores will only offer delivery to your vehicle. However, you may be able to get Sonic delivered to your door by using a delivery service if Sonic themselves do not deliver to your location.
