About the Menu

Sandwiches

You will find that all eleven of Schlotzsky’s sandwiches come in Small, Medium, and Giant options and can even be made into a wrap. These can be paired with chips, a drink, or soup. Prices range from $6.29 for a small sandwich to $14.99 for a giant.

As for your options, there are many you can try. There is the Original, costing between $7.99 and $8.99. It has salami, 3 kinds of cheese, lettuce, olives, tomato, and mustard, so you can get a savory overload.

If you want to get your vegetables in, you have the Fresh Veggie, which costs between $7.99 and $8.99. In this, you can find cheese, onion, lettuce, olives, tomato, cucumber, ranch, and a signature sauce, all contained in a sourdough bun.

Salads

With the salads, you can order deluxe versions, but these cost an extra $1.00 extra. You can find some interesting mixes that we wish we had thought of, a notable example being the Cranberry, apple, pecan, and chicken salad, which is $8.99.

Perhaps you want something more simple? Here, you can try the garden salad, which is about $8.99. With mixed field greens and romaine, tomatoes, olives, cucumbers, croutons, and ranch dressing, this will fuel you for the day ahead. But, if you want a lighter option, you won’t find a better salad than this.

If you’re a fan of southern flavors, there is also the southwestern chicken salad, which is currently $8.99. This is made all the more vibrant with the inclusion of the corn and black bean mix for added textures.

Pizzas

Everyone is always in the mood for a pizza! Luckily, Schlotzskys offers five pizzas, including the fan favorite California Chicken and Avocado Pizza for $8.99. If you want a burst of flavors, this is the pizza for you with chicken, bacon, avocado, 2 cheeses, roasted red pepper, and lite mayo to finish it off. There is also the equally popular BBQ Chicken & Jalapeño pizza, currently priced at $8.99. This consists of hand carved chicken, shredded Mozzarella Cheese, BBQ Sauce, 2 Red Onion Rings, Picked Jalapeño, and a thick Pizza Crust.

For vegetarians, there is the Veggie Supreme Pizza for $8.99. This is made with 2 cheeses, mushrooms, onion, green bell pepper, tomato, olives, and incredible marinara sauce.

There is truly something for everyone!

Desserts

You could treat yourself to a well-deserved dessert, and there’s nothing sweeter than the Cinnabon Classic with its signature warm dough, legendary Makara Cinnamon, and loaded with a rich cream cheese frosting. You can get this as a one-piece or as a 4 pack, ranging from $3.49 to $11.99.

If you want to go all out, you could go for a cheesecake, which you can get as a slice or as a whole (if you want to treat a group). This creamy cheesecake, baked on a traditional Graham Cracker crust, will cost between $3.99 and $29.99. However, this option may not be available in all locations.

Soups

You can enjoy two tasty soups at Schlotzskys. Both the Loaded Baked Potato and Timberline Chili cost $4.69 and are ideal for a cold, fall day. The Loaded Baked Potato soup is a particularly hearty bowl of creamy goodness, containing potatoes and bacon bits. Topped with cheddar cheese and green onions, this may be one of the best fast-food soups out there right now.

Chips and Sides

Complete your meal with some tasty potato chips and sides. Schlotzsky’s chips are all $1.49, whilst the side salads cost only $2.99. The side Caesar salad is a firm favorite with its fresh mix of romaine lettuce, Parmesan cheese, and croutons.

Drinks

With drinks, you can try one from Schlotzskys’ dispensers, or if you want to cut back a bit on calories, you could get a bottle or a pack of water which costs between $1.49 and $12.99, but due to the size of these options, you may not be able to get them via a delivery service.

Then you have apple juice or soda, which you can get as a can or as a pack of 12, which costs between $1.39 and $11.99. So, if you’re having a get-together or a party, this is the perfect option for you as you get your beverage situation on point.

Nutritional Information

If we take an original sandwich in a medium, this contains a maybe not-so-surprising 780 calories, and just to put that into perspective, you would have to jog for 90 minutes, swim for 65 minutes, or walk for 217 minutes to burn that many calories.

Unfortunately, a lot of the menu items follow a similar trend when we look at content values. Still, if you have keen eyes, you may be able to seek out healthier options.

Vegan Options

As far as this restaurant goes, there are few vegan options. One option, though, is the regular white tortilla with black olives, sliced tomato, sliced onion, lettuce, green bell peppers, and mushrooms. There are also some gluten-free options that you can find here.

As for vegan options, you can choose from:

  • Garden salad (without croutons)
  • Robusto Italian dressing
  • Saltine crackers
  • Fried regular chips in a barbecue or jalapeño flavor
  • Baked regular chips

Allergy Information

As far as we can tell by looking at the menu, we can only find four items that are completely free of allergens, and these are the garden salad without dressing and in a wheat tortilla wrap, balsamic vinegar, and EVOO, and regular flavor fried chips.

You should be aware that cross-contamination could happen, as all menu items are made in the same kitchen where dairy, eggs, wheat, soy, peanuts, nuts, seeds, and fish are present, so before making your order, you should check their allergen scorecard.

Schlotzsky’s Locations

As it stands, there are 344 locations across the US. Texas is the state with the highest number of restaurants, with 210. This means that 61.05% of Schlotzsky’s restaurants are in this state.

You can find a full rundown of each location here.

Interestingly, this restaurant comes under the banner of focus brands, who also own Auntie Anne’s, Cinnabon, Jamba, and carvel, so you shouldn’t be surprised to see these items on a Schlotzskys Menu, so you have a range of items to choose from.

Final Thoughts

With this in mind, you may only decide to pay this restaurant a visit, and perhaps you’ll find something that appeals to you, and maybe you won’t. Still, we can appreciate that Schlotzskys are transparent to a degree with their nutrition and allergen information.

Many take-out places, such as this one, can be enjoyed to a certain extent, as long as it isn’t a popular addition to your diet and this is balanced out with other nutrients.
