MOD Pizza – which stands for Made On Demand – was first founded in Seattle in 2008. The celebrity-approved chain has expanded to more than 500 locations across the US and Canada. MOD specializes in serving individual, artisan-style pizzas and salads. Don’t worry about choosing “too many toppings” – at MOD, there’s no such thing! You can select any number for just one price. However, if this endless choice sounds like a minefield to you, there’s a menu of pizzas and salads available to help you choose. Endorsed by celebrities such as Kylie Jenner, MOD is a great fast-food option for pizza if you’re a fan of thin-crust pizzas with a range of possible toppings. In a video for GQ, Kylie revealed her MOD pizza choice was a “pepperoni pizza with a little bit of oregano and salt and pepper”. Still undecided on what to get? This helpful guide will show you what’s on offer, including the chain’s classic pizza combos. There’s more than just pizza options too – help yourself to a salad, or treat yourself to a side, dessert or even a milkshake.

About the Menu

Pizzas

Any combination of toppings are always at one price at MOD – including from the MOD classic menu.

What does affect the price, however, is the size of the pizza you get. You can choose from mini, mod, and mega-sized pizzas. Mini pizzas are 6” and will cost at least $6.27, mod pizzas are 11” and cost at least $8.27, and mega sizes are 11”, with the addition of a thick crust, and will set you back at least $10.27.

Some of the pizza options to choose from include the “create your own” where you can choose from over 40 toppings to create your dream pizza, and the Maddy, which is a classic cheese pizza, costing at least $6.27 and ranging to over $10.00.

A popular one is Mad Dog. This is made with mozzarella, pepperoni, mild sausage, ground beef, and red sauce. Other fan favorites include the Tristan, with mozzarella, asiago, roasted red peppers, mushrooms, and pesto, plus the Dominic, made with white sauce, asiago, fresh chopped basic, red onion, sliced tomatoes, and mild sausage. All currently start from at least $6.27 up to $10.27.

We recommend trying the Lucy Sunshine, packed with mozzarella, Parmesan, artichokes, garlic, and generous dollops of red sauce or the Jasper, made with mozzarella, mushrooms, spicy chicken sausage, and red sauce.

There is even a Pizza salad, which gives you the opportunity to create your own salad on a warm, asiago pizza crust, for at least $10.27.

As you can see, there are a range of different pizzas available at MOD Pizza, so you should be able to find something to please your taste buds.

Salads

A mini (side salad) will currently cost you $6.27, the MOD (entrée salad), for just over $8.00, and a mega (family-size salad) costing at least $13.27. You can create your own, starting with romaine or mixed greens, and then customize a choice of over 30 toppings.

Other options include the Caesar salad, complete with Romaine lettuce, Parmesan cheese, asiago cheese, croutons, diced tomatoes, and a Caesar dressing, or the Italian Chop salad, made with Romaine lettuce, salami, arugula, mozzarella, red onions, Parmesan, black olives, green bell peppers, chickpeas, and a zesty Roma dressing.

Drinks

MOD Pizza offers a range of drinks and sodas to accompany your pizza meal. You can choose from a Fountain Drink, with a 16 Oz costing at least $2.17 or you can upgrade to the 24Oz for a little extra, currently priced at $2.37. They also serve Coke Bottles from $2.77, Fanta Bottles from $2.77, San Pellegrino from $2.77, San Pellegrino Aranciata from $2.77, and a bottle of water from $1.47.

If you want something a little different, then go for Boylans Black Cherry from $2.77, or Boylans Crème Soda for the same price. For those with a sweeter tooth, you can also choose from a Float starting at $2.57, Plain Milk from $1.97, or a Chocolate Milk, currently from $1.97.

Sides

In terms of sides, most of these are variations of garlic bread and garlic strips, although you can get cinnamon strips too. The cheesy garlic bread can be served with green sauce, pesto, ranch, or a blend of sriracha and ranch of MOD’s own creation.

Some popular options are Cheesy Garlic Bread (Limited Edition Green Sauce), currently from around $6.00, Garlic Strips with Red Sauce, from only $2.97, Pesto Garlic Strips from the same price, Ranch Garlic Strips, also from the same price, and different flavors of Cinnamon Strips, including Chocolate, Cinnamon Glaze, and Strawberry.

Desserts and Milkshakes

If you are looking for desserts, then you can’t go wrong with MOD Pizza’s incredible No Name Cake, starting from $2.27 in most selected stores. This chocolate cake is made with a rich vanilla buttercream center, and covered with dreamy, chocolate glaze. There are currently no other options on the desserts menu, but who needs anything else when you have the No Name Cake?

And, who doesn’t love an All American milkshake? At MOD Pizza, you can choose from an Oreo Cookie Milkshake, starting at $3.57, a Chocolate Milkshake from $3.57, a Strawberry Milkshake, or if you like them plain, go for a classic Vanilla Milkshake.

Nutrition

If you’re looking to control your food intake, the best thing about MOD is that it’s made to order, so you can easily consider your nutrition needs. MOD’s pizzas are generally high in fat and sodium. However, they can still be enjoyed as part of a healthy diet, and there are some high-protein pizza options to look out for.

If you’re looking to increase your protein intake you have in your diet, these are pizzas you’ll probably want to try. However, it’s worth pointing out that in general, the pizzas that are higher in protein are also higher in sodium – so you might have to pick and choose your priorities if you’re heading to a MOD anytime soon.

High-protein pizzas

  • Caspian Pizza – Mega Dough
  • Calexico Pizza – Mega Dough
  • Sizzlin’ Chicken Sausage – Mega Dough

Low-sodium pizzas

  • Dominic pizza – Mini
  • Maddy – Mini
  • Dillon James – Mini

On the other hand, you’ll probably want to avoid these low-protein and high-sodium pizzas if that’s something you’re prioritizing in your nutritional goals. These are the pizza options you might want to avoid ordering, especially if you’re wanting to increase your protein intake.

Needless to say, if you’re not in the mood for one of the low-sodium pizzas but you’re still looking for something to eat from MOD – you can always opt for one of the salads. As with the pizzas, there are high and low protein options, as well as high and low sodium options to consider.

  • Italian chop
  • Caesar

Low-protein salads

It’s important to point out that all pizzas and treats at MOD can be enjoyed as part of a balanced diet!

Unfortunately, since the food at MOD is prepared in the same space, it’s not possible for MOD to ensure menu items are free of allergens or gluten. You can get a gluten-friendly crust option, but the website also says none of the crust options are recommended for those with a gluten sensitivity.
