Red Robin

Red Robin began its life over 30 years ago in Tilghman Square, Allentown, back in 1991. It was founded by Steven J. Hanzlik. Stephen’s vision was to create a chain which provided employment for working people, as well as fantastic customer experiences for its consumers, along with high quality and delicious tasting food. Since then, the franchise had prided itself on delivering these services. Stephen sadly lost his battle with cancer in 2010. His legacy, however, lives on in the Red Robin Restaurants. The chain is known for charity, and involving itself in the wider community. Red Robin runs itself according to a set of 6 core values which dictate everything they do, from creating delicious food dishes, to engaging with customers.

About the Menu

Whatever you’re looking for, Red Robin offers something for everyone.

Mains

The mains at Red Robin come in all shapes and sizes. For the mains, they have a wide variety of burgers. However, if you’re not a fan of burgers, they also have a wide variety of salads, wraps, and sandwiches.

Gourmet Burgers

Being what they are known for, burgers are probably what Red Robin does best. There is a varied range of burgers to choose from with prices ranging from $8.99 to $10.99, depending on where you live.

On the Gourmet Burgers section of the menu, there are 11 burgers to choose from.

If you like eggs and bacon, then I would recommend the Royal Red Robin Burger. This burger consists of a beef patty, topped with smoked bacon, egg, tomatoes, mayo, and lettuce.

If you’re looking for something a bit less calorific, but still want a burger that will leave you feeling full, then I would recommend the Banzai Burger, costing $9.39 The beef patty is glazed in teriyaki, and topped with cheddar, tomatoes, lettuce, mayo, and grilled pineapple. This is a delicious choice if you’re looking for something a bit different from your standard cheeseburger.

If you want something a lot lighter, then I would suggest that you opt for Sautéed ‘Shroom Burger. This costs from $10.49 but can be as much as $13.99 in some locations. This is a beef patty, topped with garlic and Parmesan cheese, and sautéed mushrooms. There’s also a layer of Swiss cheese. There are a lot of mushrooms piled into this one, so if you like mushrooms, then this is the one for you.

All the gourmet burgers are served with fries, with the choice to upgrade to sweet potato fries.

Tavern Burgers

There are eight Tavern Burgers on the Red Robin menu, costing from $8.39 up to $11.43. They all consist of two beef patties, and are all served with steak cut fries. With all of these burgers, there’s the option to swap out the two patties for one signature bigger one.

If you’re serious about burgers, then I would definitely recommend that you opt for the Pig Out Double Burger ($8.49) This burger consists of two patties glazed in sugar, topped with lettuce, bacon, bacon crumbles, mayo, and American cheese. This is one of the bigger burgers on the menu and not for the faint hearted. If you love burgers, this will leave you feeling satisfied.

Nutrition

For information about nutrition, you can head to the Red Robin website, where all of the nutritional information for all of their food and drink is detailed. On their website is a Nutritional Guide where you can access all the information regarding each dish and its nutritional value.

In regards to allergies, it would be a good idea to mention any allergies to your server, as they will be able to provide you with any information you require about the menu. You can also head to the Red Robin website, where there is an Allergen Declaration where you can find the information you need.

If you’re a vegetarian, you might not think a burger restaurant is for you. However, Red Robin has something for everyone, so there will definitely be something on the menu that you will enjoy.

For vegetarians, I would recommend that you go for the Veggie Burger ($13.89). This is a quinoa and grain veggie patty, topped with Swiss cheese, avocado slices, salsa, romaine lettuce, garlic aioli, all served in a warm multigrain bun. If you’re a vegan, there is the option to get this without cheese, or garlic aioli, served in a wrap, and with broccoli instead of fries. These alterations make it a perfect choice for vegans.

If you want something with a few fewer calories, then you should opt for the Wedgie burger ($10.49). This has all the delicious taste of a normal burger, but with a fraction of the calories. This dish consists of a beef patty, bacon, homemade guacamole, red onions, and tomatoes. However, rather than being served in a bread bun, this is all served up in a lettuce bun. Rather than fries, the Wedgie burger is served with a side salad. This means the whole meal will only contain 540 calories, making it the perfect option if you want something light.
