Raising Cane’s was established by Todd Graves in Baton Rouge, Louisiana in 1996. The chain specializes in chicken fingers: fresh, hand-battered chicken tenders, never frozen. They pride themselves on fresh food cooked to order, and their top-secret blend that makes up Cane’s Sauce. Raising Cane’s restaurants are spread across the United States. The chain began its international expansion in 2015, spreading as far as Kuwait and the UAE. As of 2022, there are a massive 600 locations. The chain is known for its simple slogan, ‘One Love’. Favorites include their crispy Crinkle-Cut Fries and a plethora of chicken finger combos.

Prices and variety may vary by restaurant, but one thing’s for sure, there is something for everyone at Raising Cane’s.

Combos

Combos are a much-loved option at Raising Cane’s, there are quite a lot of different options to choose from. They include the Box Combo, boasting four Chicken Fingers, Crinkle-Cut Fries, Cane’s Sauce, Texas Toast, Coleslaw, and a Regular Fountain Drink/Tea, all currently round the $7.00 mark. Another popular choice is the Caniac Combo with six delicious Chicken Fingers, Crinkle-Cut Fries, two Cane’s Sauce, Texas Toast, Coleslaw, and a Large Fountain Drink/Tea, currently around $10.00.

For something a little smaller, you can enjoy the 3 Finger Combo. This contains three Chicken finger-licking wondrous fingers, Crinkle-Cut Fries, Cane’s Sauce, Texas Toast, and a Regular Fountain Drink/Tea for under $7.00.

And, there are two cheaper items on the menu. First, we have the Sandwich Combo, which sports three Chicken Fingers, Cane’s Sauce, Lettuce, Toasted Bun, Crinkle-Cut Fries, and a Regular Fountain Drink/Tea, currently for $5.98, and there is the Kids’ Combo. In this combo, there are two Chicken Fingers, Crinkle-Cut Fries, Cane’s Sauce, and a Kids’ Size Drink, currently only $4.58.

You can enjoy 25 Fingers and sauce for around $39.99 in most locations, 50 Fingers and sauce for under $80.00, a whopping 75 Fingers and sauce, currently for $115.49, or a mammoth 100 Fingers and sauce from an equally mammoth $144.99 right now. All come with a selection of Raising Cane’s sauces, with the largest including 33 sauces to choose from. It may sound like a lot but these tailgates are perfect for a family gathering or upcoming party.

Need extra Fingers? What about some sauce to really juice things up?

Chicken Fingers currently cost $1.85 individually, a portion of Crinkle-Cut Fries costs around $2.29, Coleslaw costs $1.38, a serving of Cane’s Sauce costs just $0.39, and a piece of Texas Toast only currently set at $1.38.

These prices have recently changed with the rising costs of everything else. For instance, Texas Toast has gone up almost double whilst Cane’s Sauce has gone up 10 cents. Prices are subject to further change so get in there whilst these prices are available! Bear in mind, however, that prices may differ depending on location, too.

Drinks

All of that crispy goodness might make you thirsty. Luckily, Raising Cane’s has a host of refreshing beverages, such as freshly squeezed Lemonade starting from $1.19 for a Regular. There are also Large and one gallon sizes available too with the largest being over $10.00. There is also the option of ordering Sweet/Unsweet Tea, from $1.19 for a kid’s size, up to around $6.00 for a jug.

Fountain Drinks are another popular option, currently costing from $1.19 for kids to over $2.50 for a large. All Kids’ Size drinks are currently priced at $1.19. Also available is Half Tea/Half Lemonade which has to be the most refreshing option of all, and is ideal for any hot summer day!

Nutritional Values

When considering calorie contents, be aware that an average ten-minute, one-mile run burns around 100 calories. The US recommended daily calorie intake for women is 2000 and for men, 2500 calories.

Dietary Information

There are limited options for vegetarians: only Crinkle-Cut Fries, Coleslaw, and Texas Toast would be suitable. There are no vegan options currently available at Raising Cane’s. Halal menus are served at locations in the Middle East, but not available in most stores in the USA.
